Since the beginning of time, stories and conversations have proven to serve a critical role in impacting lives, influencing changes, and inspiring action. Advocacies rest on the power of talking others into understanding the why behind the fight, business moguls encourage budding entrepreneurs through motivational talks, and the everyday person uses conversations to uplift others.
The bottom line is that even the simplest of conversation can become the medium for causing impact, and this fact pushed Zack DeMinno to create his own platform.
Zack established The Impact Studio as a safe place for authentic talks, whether via podcast or video. After attracting a significant following, it has now transformed into a successful Instagram Live Series that is being hosted by All Things Good Co, a company dedicated to giving entrepreneurs, musicians, philanthropists, and more a platform to share their stories. All of the episodes under The Impact Studio will be saved on All Things Good Co’s Instagram page and made available, especially for those who cannot tune in live.
At its core, The Impact Studio is an avenue intended for individuals and institutions who are making the world better. It covers real topics and informs listeners of different advocacies and causes. Through raw conversations, Zack takes a deep dive into what sparks a fire in his guests in their efforts to create impact and inspire change.
One of The Impact Studio’s first guests is the founder of Ducklings Travel, Taylor Bouchard. Taylor, who was diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation when she was young, had traveled from Florida to Colorado fifteen times to avail treatments. In the process, she came to realize how people could be prevented from receiving the care that they need because of travel costs and other miscellaneous expenses. This realization, along with her past experiences, prompted her to establish Ducklings Travel to aid families in need of financial travel assistance for the treatment of medical conditions, ensuring that no child is denied access to distant specialized medical attention due to travel costs.
Zack has designed his platform to give guests ample time to talk about their passions, unlike other avenues that limit the conversations to a couple of minutes. And this has allowed for a comprehensive look into the social issues that Zack’s guests are working to solve, such as the global movement to end violence against children. This advocacy against the harm that millions of children are facing is what drives Dr. Howard Taylor, the executive director of Global Partnerships to End Violence. Through The Impact Studio, listeners got the chance to be familiar with this large-scale platform that promotes advocacy, evidence-based action, and investments as tools to stop all forms of violence against children.
The Impact Studio also has an episode featuring Kylee McGrane, the founder of A Moment of Magic, which is a nonprofit organization that allows college-age students to provide creative programming to children with medical vulnerabilities. Her foundation has twenty chapters located in twenty different colleges throughout the US and enables students dressed up as characters to visit children’s hospitals and bring them joy.
Another passionate individual who has found a safe space to talk about his advocacy in the company of Zack is Kellen Brewer. Kellen is at the helm of the largest youth water organization in the world called Thirst Project, dedicated to teaching students about the importance of water access.
Ever since its establishment, The Impact Studio has propelled into the limelight the change-makers of today’s generation. And in the upcoming episodes, Zack will continue to delve into conversations with people whose lives are driven by causes and the passion for making the world a better place.
