Jaime Pavon is a fashion photographer from Ecuador who started his career at age 18, shooting for magazines and brands in South America. He has been working in the advertising and fashion industry in the region for more than ten years with different top brands, magazines, and agencies.
Deciding to expand upon his practice, he moved to New York City and took up Masters in Photography at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. The new environment served as an inspiration for him to advance his work to be more innovative and creative.
As a photographer, it’s always essential to develop a style to be unique amongst the many. Jamie’s approach to photography gives off a vibe of something futuristic, edgy, avant-garde, and polished with a fun twist. The style also incorporates his Hispanic roots with a modern look.

Jamie’s involvement in the advertising and fashion industry has led to a lot of career opportunities for him. This gave him a chance to interact with all kinds of people in the business, helping him learn to deal with a big production.
Currently, he’s working with some advertising agencies and magazines in New York, Miami, and Ecuador. He continuously improves the quality of his work by shooting personal fashion photos every day, as a way of practice and steady release of content.
Jamie has a studio in Manhattan, complete with all the equipment like adjustable lighting kits, backdrops, and cameras. He also takes pride in the team that supports him. His Fashion Stylist, Hair Stylist, Makeup Artists, Retoucher, Digi-techs, and assistants help him produce high-quality photos.
He recently created a podcast called Raw Artist, available in Spotify and Apple Podcasts, where other photographers, especially Latin creatives, share their journey in achieving success in the fashion photography industry worldwide. The podcast aims to reach out and inspire people who are passionate about fashion, arts, and culture.
