Introducing Francis Volpe, one of the co-founders of Forbes, accredited marketing agency Y Not You Media, located in Westchester, NY. Y Not You Media is a social media attention agency who helps large and small businesses grow a sustainable and strong brand with the use of social media. Francis and his team accomplish this through a custom-tailored approach in marketing as well as face-to-face meetings with their clients, allowing them to understand what their clients are looking to achieve. Y Not You Media also develops brand strategies for their clients that produce creative content, management of their social media, and paid advertisements all to generate growth.
Francis Volpe, Tony Pec, and Michael Capozzi are the owners of Y Not You media, having developed the idea after a few excruciating years working in the corporate world. They realized that there was a need for this kind of service due to the exponential growth that social media was generating. Providing businesses that are looking to differentiate themselves from their competitors with their service, Y Not You media tailors a marketing strategy that will attract an audience that suits the business they are working with.
Working wholeheartedly on this one endeavor, they have been able to establish a successful business. Growing up in Westchester, NY, as an only child living with just his mom, Francis Volpe’s mother instilled in him the importance of education, hard work, and dedication. He says that he was continuously reminded that failure was an important tool for learning.
What separates them from similar companies is that they pride themselves in their “young with an old school mentality.” They are professional, computer-savvy, up to date on social media trends, and most importantly value personal relationships with their clients. Their goal is to establish and maintain an on-going relationship with clients and provide them with the high-quality services that they deserve.
Along with his content team consisting of creative director Mark Supik, content creators Steven Adams and Antonio Cortes, as well as others. Francis has been able to position Y Not You Media as one of the most sought out creative content teams in Westchester, and slowly making a name for themselves throughout New York. Their creative process is one that is personal and dives deep. Each piece of content that they create is meant to bring out that individual’s personality and story, making it their own. Francis and his team believe in the saying “create to separate,” meaning every piece of content should be unique to the clients’ respective industry.
Francis not only excelled in academics during his studies, but he also excelled in sports, citing that sports was the most impactful part of his life that made him who he is today. Playing college Football for Assumption College, taught him that nothing is handed to you in life; everything requires extreme hard work. Sports taught him responsibility, teamwork, accountability, failure, and never to give up.
He has taken these experiences and implemented them into his business. During his free time, he is involved in coaching his former High School Hockey team at Fordham Prep as well as working as a stunt man for television and movies.
Francis Volpe prides himself on loyalty, he has maintained the same group of friends throughout his entire life, despite them having all gone on different paths, Francis sees them as family, and they encourage each other in each of their endeavors. He looks forward to growing his company to become a tremendous success, all while impacting young adults to go after what they want in life regardless of their circumstances.
As his company’s name implies, Francis Volpe bravely asks his clients that if anyone else can do it, and if anyone else has made it big: “Y Not You?” Francis knows the answer, and he knows it well, and that’s what he’s willing to impart to all businesses out there.
